Where to go?


If you are on a cruise ship in the beautiful island of Tortola in the caribbean and you want to catch a ferry to Virgin Gorda island, the first thing you need to do is head to the ferry terminal, which is located in the heart of Road Town at the Waterfront.

Your options: This can be done either by taking a short 14 minute walk to the ferry station. Please see directions here to get to the ferry terminal. It's very easy to get there; or you could also take a taxi ride or a shuttle bus provided by the cruise ship excursion.

Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket to Virgin Gorda. These can be bought online at our website or at Sensational ferry ticket booth. The cost is $30 for a round trip. Always bring your ID with you when traveling, but it is not necessary to purchase a ticket. It is important to check the ferry schedule to make sure you have enough time to explore Virgin Gorda and catch the return ferry to Tortola.

Taking a ferry from Tortola, to Virgin Gorda is a great way to experience the beauty of the British Virgin Islands. The ferry ride is relatively short, lasting approximately 30 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. You will enjoy the stunning views of the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and the British Virgin Islands.
